Ive been kicked for planting claymores! Claymores for god sake! How dare some freak dictate to me how I should be playing a game!

My advice: find a good server and stick to it- people will know you and won't get pathetic every time you kill them.

If you enjoy FPS games then have a look for System Shock 2 and Deus Ex. Both have ancient system requirements and will run well with your computer. The graphics are not fantastic but the atmosphere in both games is electric. If you want to find out what BioShock feels like System Shock is the original (and some say better) game that spawned its spiritual successor. If you like a great story, tension and rpg elements you will love this game. One small problem you might have problems finding this game these days as it is always in the top one hundred classic game charts- and therefore sought after.

Deus Ex is the classic rpg style cyber-punk sci-fi game, where the story is so adaptive you can almost do anything you want. Both games will run well on your 'old school' computer. Hope that helps.

COD2 still has a hardcore following- if you think you might like a WW2 setting rather than a modern one- then go for it. COD4 will come down in price in a couple of months orso, by that time you should know if your a fan or not.

I like COD4 better having played both for some time in Multi and singleplayer modes. COD4 has more complexity to its play style and a deeper experience in total- the unlocking of perks (or skills) and weaponry gives you a great incentive to continue playing and rewards players who play well, while also encouraging noobs to develop their skills. Having said that the levels in COD4 seem slightly more claustrophobic when compared to its WW2 twin.
