Gun control is good for two reasons: Regardless of what you say, gun control protects the general populus. If it weren't for gun control dangerous felons would legally be able to attain incredibly powerful weapons. Just because the general populus is armed doesn't mean that they can't be out-gunned. And also, if there no gun control, I doubt that the state would be able to adequately function; simply because the governed would be too strong and would severely weaken the government, if not abolish it completely, thus throwing society into a state of (possibly unwarranted) anarchy.-Sun_Tzu-
