Yeah I've already went through three consoles, each breaking down in a different way in just over a year. It's frustrating and anyone that's ever had the red rings happen knows it. I hate it because it always tends to break just when I get a new game. The day I bought GRAW 2, I go home to start playing it and I get the red rings. I had to wait just under two weeks to play it on my console, I took it to over to a friends house while I waited. I love the console, but I'm definitely considering either playing it less from now on or just get an Elite so I don't have to deal with it.Strife88

Well I wouldn't feel safe with an Elite because that's what I'm sending back and it had way less time on it then my launch Premium.

Thanks guys I just hope MS gets their system up so they can get this processed. The faster I get the shipment box the faster I get it back. I was lucky to get all of Army of Two in so I can send it back to Gamefly. I just upgraded my PC so it will give me some time to dive back into the lost world of PC gaming. lol Crysis has been fun to play so far and it still is giving my 8800GTS (G92) SLI setup a fit.

Yesterday morning I flipped my launch 360 Elite on for a few minutes in the morning to check something out. Turned it off until about 10PM that night and when I flipped it back on I got the RRoD. I get on the phone with MS and after I go through all the crap the rep can't process my order and asks me to call back again tomorrow. Well I call again tonight and give this rep my reference number and he tries to make me go through the same trouble shooting crap and I was like I already did this yesterday. He goes to process the order and guess what the system is down again. MS really is doing a crap job with this console. My launch 360 finally bit the dust around Christmas and I returned it for my friend who bought it from me when I bought the Elite. Now my Elite takes a crap in less then a year and I can't even get it fixed! Keep in mind I keep the unit on an open rack so it has plently of breathing room. No wonder the PS3 is start to outsell the 360. I though the RRoD was overhyped but now the majority of the people I know with the system have had it and I've had it on two different models! I guess it's time to dust the old PS3 and Wii off. COD4 withdrawl beings now!

Hate to burst your bubble but Resident Evil and Assassin's Creed are multiplatform. So that leaves you with MGS, DMC, and FF. Three great franchises but only one of those three in DMC will probably see release anytime soon.

I voted for 360.  I was kind of unsure about my purchase when it first came out.  Now with the Wii and PS3 launch I feel pretty good about it.  I've got to enjoy a lot of good games in the year between the launch of the systems.  There really aren't any killer apps for the Wii or PS3.  I guess the Wii has Zelda but that for the most part is a Gamecube title with support for the new controller slapped on.  I'll just pick it up for Gamecube and wait on some more titles.  I'd probably vote for Wii60 if it was an option.
