Can anyone name some relative recent games that have worthwile co-op for the pc? I can only think of a few, Rainbow Six Vegas, Gears of War, and Doom 3 with mods. Any others? Within the past 4 or 5 years is okay unless its a really great co-op oldie.

Most likely you will not be able to find any "new" copies of system shock 2 let alone used copies at EB games. Best thing to do is call around to all your local game stores that sell used PC games and once that fails, find it online somewhere.
It was free back years ago when Steam was in its beta testing stages. You have to own Half-Life/CD Key in order to play CS. Theres almost the same if not more people playing the original CS than CS:S, so yeah theres a lot of people still playing.
Well by free you mean if you own Half-Life the original? If so yes you can, just go to steampowered.com, Steam replaced Half-Life's multiplayer component. Once you setup steam you can easily download the original counter-strike.
If you want to get serious about PC gaming then don't bother with laptops. Laptops can barely be upgraded if you ever wanted to later on, also considering that 7900s are the "old" tech now with DX10 out would make you want to upgrade even sooner if you could. Just go with a custom build desktop with SLI 8800s. You could prolly cost around 2500 if you went to the max options.
Most games are $5-10 cheaper on steam rather than in retail. Thats a lot cheaper than it would actually cost production companies to supply the physical components. Don't just use one example to base it on all of them. Retail stores also have to lower their prices to digital download prices in order to compete with them.
I recently bought the Xbox 360 wireless receiver. I've been able to install the software/drivers very easily but my only issue is that for some god awful reason the receiver wont connect with my controller. When I do the connection linkup on the controller and then proceed to hit the button on the receiver, it can tell that there is a controller but it wont connect. The controller will start to have the entire ring just blinking. I've read up on people who have wireless logitech keyboard/mouse causing the issue but I have a wired logitech mouse so I doubt thats the issue. Searching has been a pain, I havent been able to find any decent information on the problem.
Anyone know a fix to connecting the wireless receiver?
