Looks kinda cool but I think I'd still rather play The Last of Us. I don't mind the interactive movie kinda style but I much prefer "true" games. Heavy Rain was good but not as good as I expected when I first saw it.
@emptycow LA Noire has better facial animations but this hardly looks dated, and the rest of it (everthing but the faces) takes "ten shits" on LA Noire.
@stellarlsell Well Ninja Gaiden Black is better than the second one in my opinion. But yeah I'm really looking forward to the third one. A bit worried about how a lot of the team members left to form Valhalla games but I'm hoping it will be great still.
@Gooshnads Not really, the shotgun became virtually useless, the slowing down effect it had when you shoot people who are sprinting was dumb, when someone walked towards you revving a chainsaw they almost never got stunned when you shot them, sticking grenades to walls was pretty dumb but would have been tolerable if the grenades didn't respawn ridiculously fast The game as a whole felt kinda "floaty", not as grounded and meaty as the first one. Just the walking and running felt weird and when you shot people with a shotgun they just kinda shot backwards like a rag doll and were covered in blood. It didn't have the same in-your-face impact of someone getting blown to pieces like the first one did. I admit, despite these problems I probably would have still played it to death if the online stability was good, but it wasn't, and that just made all the faults even more annoying. It seemed like they just tried to tone down the shotgun far more than was necessary, adding several nerfs where only one (if that) was necessary. The things I mentioned about the grenades were what annoyed me the most though.
First one was great gameplay wise but suffered from connection problems. The second one was garbage gameplay and connection wise, hopefully they'll sort it out.
1. Halo 2 (Xbox) This needs no explaining. 2. Ninja Gaiden Black (Xbox) One of the best games ever made. If you don't think so then you're obviously not cool. 3. Silent Bomber (PS1) Quality game and no-one I know has heard of it, that of course makes me cool for owning it. 4. Streets Of Rage (SEGA Megadrive/Genesis) All true gamers love this game, and it was all I ever used to play when I was younger along with Shinobi and Golden Axe 1 & 2. 5. Flashback (SEGA Megadrive/Genesis) Everyone I know actually hates this game, but since I think it's amazing, it makes me feel that I am cool and they're all deluded.
