I dont like playing horseshoes in real life or in video games.
I hated that waste of time crap, "beat everyone at poker" to gain a new outfit?!. If i wanted to play poker I'd log on to FullTilt.
However, overall the majority of it I enjoyed

i just bought a PS3 and those are the first two games I bought. I played RDR for an extended period of time about 70% through and loved it but then I started Uncharted 1 and did not go back to RDR until I was finished with Uncharted. I made my way through UC1 in a week, it is addicting as hell and has a nice mix of fighting/exploring to keep you going for hours. Personally while I love RDR also, I would pick up UC1 for $15-20 and then move on to RDR.Uncharted 1 sucks, in my opinion, the second one is amazing tho'. From those you mentioned, I would buy RDR.
Muvilici
it is easily dictated by sales. if it sells well, which it should, and it is well received, which we hope, then Naughty Dog will move forward with #4.
It is business 101, scale back when demand declines but when the iron is hot must go full force ahead! Look at Tomb Raiders history as an example of how the business is exploited to its maximum capacity
[QUOTE="brotherwo"]Well, most games these days can be found for $20 off or even more just a few weeks or months after release. If you don't get them during sales, you'll probably see their price go down after the next year's version is released. Sports games have a steep decline in price once that happens. I understand that....Imasking with college football over in a week does the price drop immediately after and by how much? When does the price drop typcially happen?
RogueShodown
When does the price drop typcially happen?
Assassins of Creed or go straight to Brotherhood?
You may want to consider downloading some demos, I suggest Uncharted and Uncharted 2 alot as well as Batman Arkam Asylum.wooooodeJust a little update: Ive had my PS3 for two weeks now and I'm loving it! I really cant say enough for the evolution of video games and I've barely explored the online/download/friend community. For the past two weeks I've spent 90% of my time on Uncharted 1and RDR. Both games have been a fabulous time. I finished Uncharted 1 last night and I'm about 70% through RDR and ready to go pick up a few more games. I don't love 1st person shooters which I know are incredibly popular today but I prefer Uncharted style of play (technical skills, some shooting, some problem solving), so if you guys have any more great games that fall into that category list please let me know. Here is my current play list so far: RDR Heavy Rain Uncharted 2 Resident Evil 5 MGS 4 LA Noire (when it comes out)
You can get it a lot cheaper than that. I saw it in the Bargin Bin at Kmart for $19.95 But its definitely worth picking up if your a fan of RPG'sgmaster456
Where the hell is a Kmart these days and secondly who the hell is shopping at Kmart?
The game is amazing, Im very impressed! Ive been out of video games for 7 years and the last game I played of this kind was Syphon Filter for PS1, I love how this type of game has evolved. The taking cover ability is amazing, in S.F. I remember frantically running around in attempts to take cover. Overall my game experience has been great and the fact that everyone says UC2 blows 1 out of the water, I guess Im in for a real treat.
My only complaint is the story line. Very unrealistic and the humor is awful. I dont mind killing 1000 people to get to the treasure (thats whats fun)but doing it in such a light hearted way takes something away from it for me. I really look forward to Heavy Rain as many people say the storyline is well done.
I just got a PS3 and have been dedicating all my time to RDR and made it 3/4 through and now I'm ready to get going o...n another game so I bought Uncharted Drake's Fortune.
Any thing I should know before I get going on this game?
