So this is my first blog and I figured I would write this since I have finally been able to get myself an X-Box 360.

It all started December 13th when here in New Hampshire we had a HORRIBLE ice storm which knocked out the power to over 400,000 homes and businesses in new Hampshire, Massachusettes, and some portions of Maine. New Hampshire was however hit the worse of the three.

Being that I am a campus safety officer at a local university in New Hampshir, I would have to work overtime and plus to help keep things under control. When school is cancelled, Campus Safety Officers get double time and a half (which we also get for holidays) so needless to say that with so many days of the school being cancelled plus the holidays, my paychecks have been very good.

Well, my wife and I were out doing last minute Christmas shopping and she decided that since I had put aside getting an X-Box for months (due to her pregnancy and needing thigns for the baby and getting things for her) she would buy me one for Christmas, and then she picked me up Assassin's Creed and Dead Rising. To say I was thrilled is an understatement.

And now I have about 9 games, my latest being Fable 2, and my favorite thus far being a 3 way tie between Fable 2, Star Wars: Force Unleashed, and Mass Effect (Mass Effect is my favorite but those are the top 3).

Now, I see why people have raved over the 360, its an amazing system and the games are outstanding. Of course in alot of times I need to be a little bit more open minded with my game choices (I would never have bought Mass Effect if someone I know hadn't suggested it), but the 360 has my favorite brand of games...its great to have it...and now I can't wait for the new Ghostbusters to come out.

Well there's my first blog just me going on and on talking with no point. I guess this is just the beginning.
