Well, today is the start of GDC, and the question on a lot of gamers minds is, "Will Alan Wake be present?" Well, it's likely and unlikely.
Likely because:
-Remedy's been quiet recently on the AW forums (maybe they're gone?)
-We got those writing excerpts that gave light on some development issues, and gameplay/story information.
-Back in October with the cinematic trailer they said they weren't ready to show off gameplay but they would soon.
-It's been 6 months since that trailer. Time for something new. E3 may be too long, and cause disinterest to arise.
-
The gameplay screen. We saw this a few months ago. I think it's time they show us a clip of it motion, or demo it. Either way is awesome.
-They haven't confirmed one way or the other if they're going to be there.
----
Reasons for it being unlikely:
-This is Remedy dammit. They do what they want. Even if that means pissing you off. You'll be back anyway, so what does it matter.
-They haven't confirmed one way or the other if they're going to be there.
-Alan Wake hardly shows up anywhere.
-GDC is not a show-and-tell. Hardly any games will be seen at all. Why would the most illusive be shown?
-E3 and MS Gamer Day quickly follow GDC, more game apporiate shows. Why not show it there instead?

Whatever the case, just stayed tuned....
