So I know some people who work at Cryptic Studios, the creators of City of Heroes (the games was sold to another studio I think). Currently they are working an awesome sequel called "Champions Online" and I keep bugging them to also make it for the Xbox 360 (mostly because I don't want to buy a pc to play games anymore). Here's the site: http://champions-online.com/ Studio's site: http://www.crypticstudios.com They are 'thinking' about making a version for the xbox 360. If they do make a version they have said they would integrate PC players and XBOX 360 players on the same servers, which is awesome in my opinion. There's no PvP, as far as I know, so nothing unfair going on (controller vs mouse). If you agree you want this to have this game on Xbox 360, email PR@crypticstudios.com or and let them know!

Taking down two Scarabs on legendary and surviving 'Cortana' on legendary while playing solo, and playing the game Co-op have been some of the greatest fun I've had playing video games. The game is definitely worth it. Multiplayer is pretty tough though, many high skilled players will wipe the floor with new people. If you just don't let it affect you, and why should it you just started playing the game they've been playing it for years, then it can be fun.

I loved Oblivion and, like you, never really did get into Fallout 3. It took me about an hour or two to get into Oblivion, but after that, I was hooked. I really can't express why Oblivion and Fallout are different, they just feel different to me. It could be that I played the first Fallout games and was just disappointed with this one. Oblivion is cheap enough to pick up without any worries these days though. Just pick it up.kollin_1
Ok I guess I could see how someone who loves Oblivion might not like Fallout 3, mostly because it's kind of dark and never really beautiful or magical like Oblivion. But you'd have to experience Oblivion before Fallout 3 to feel that way. If you don't like Fallout 3, never having played Oblivion, and are not amazed by what Bethesda is capable of, then you will probably not like Oblivion either and should probably go play Beautiful Katamari and my little pony's and friends or something. ;)

Anyone know any good RPGs for the 360 other than Fallout 3, Oblivion, Fable 2, and Mass Effect?

RendFou
Lost Odyssey (Japanese Style though)

I thought the vault with the clones and the vault with the man lobsters was pretty scary.

It's not about the rank, it's all about the k/d ratios.:P

klusps

That's a funny thing about Halo 3. You could have an awesome KD ratio and have a skill of 1, because the game is all about getting the most kills, even if you die more than you kill.

Fallout 3 is Oblivion with a Fallout skin. They even use the same sounds for environmental things like wind, wading through water, etc. Although there are lush green fields, blooming flowers, sparkling lakes, moody music and some awesome quests in Oblivion. Not sure why you wouldn't have liked Fallout 3 though, that fricken robot at the end was awesome.

Right, I'm trying to choose what to buy with some extra Microsoft points I have kicking around. I'm picking any two out of:

  • Halo 3 Legendary Map Pack
  • Castle Crashers
  • GTA IV: The Lost and Damned
  • The Pitt (Fallout 3 Expansion

Any help would be appreciated.

Legendary Map Pack Halo 3. The big white snow map with the extra vehicles makes it worth it. Also the extra game types.
