It's supposed to be identical to the old Halo 2 ranking system, leveling up solely based on wins and losses. The ranking system, like much of this game, is broken though. Ranks in their current state don't mean anything. You don't even get matched up with similarly skilled people.

Haven't been able to edit one of my stacks. It's over 100 games if that makes a difference.

Probably Halo 2, yet all of them will get a good chunk of playing time. I can't wait for the LANs that will result from this game being released...

Hopefully this is the right place to post this.

I am currently living in a house where the modem/router for the internet connection is downstairs.  I want to set up my Xbox 360 upstairs but I don't have a wireless adapter for the console.  I do, however, have an additional wireless router and modem.  I want to use this additional router to bridge the connection and manually plug my ethernet into the second router to get an internet connection.  Is there any way to do this without connecting the wireless routers with an ethernet?

Any help is appreciated.

Everyone please send Nintendo emails/tweets in hope that they reverse their decision. Here is an example:

Nintendo, please allow Super Smash Brothers Melee to be streamed at the video game tournament: EVO 2013.
We have raised over $94,000 in breast cancer research to get Super Smash Brothers Melee in EVO and were all very excited to watch this momentous event in Melee history. With this, we are all starting to think you do not care about the fans and only care about promoting your new products and extinguishing people who love your past work.
Do not expect a Wii-U purchase for me if you are going to keep treating your fans this way.

Thank you.

You're giving it a score of 9.5/10 and you haven't played it yet. You're the reason why people don't use the forums anymore.

Something has been bugging me lately. It's the reality that seemingly all people think they can tell you that you shouldn't care so much about something. By the way, I am speaking from a hobby/passion standpoint (examples: cars, sports, music, video games), not from life's overarching themes (relationships, religion, ect).

In my example, it's sports (or any type of competition really). I love winning, I love getting better at things, I love everything about competing against other people in different areas. I'm not a jerk in competitive situations, I just always play to win.

It seems that most people like to play "for fun" over playing "to win".
That's fine. Really, I don't care if you're not competive.

But it doesn't go both ways. You can want to play for fun, and I won't judge you. So why is the reverse not true? Why am I judged and berated for trying my best and always playing to win? Who are you to tell me how I should go about it?

Our society is so inconsistent with this. Certain things are okay to be passionate about, while others are condemned. Take music for example, no one criticizes another for being obsessed with improving their guitar skills. But if I want to be awesome at Halo, that is largely just seen as a complete waste of time and you are wrong for putting so much time into something so trivial.

It's frustrating that leaderboards always get hacked because the concept of it is so cool. Seeing the ACTUAL best time/score in the world for something and knowing that it is legit would be awesome. Instead, there is always a loophole and leaderboards have essentially become meaningless. Does anyone know of any games (popular ones especially) where the leaderboards are reliable?
