@Gaticus: That's exactly what I said......

"zero lag when docked"

Docked is used to describe when the Switch is in it's DOCK, meaning the controller is STANDALONE.

The only person misreading things here is you.

@Gaticus: I didn't misread anything.....

but once you try to use them as a standalone controller... hold on to your butts, this lag is gonna get crazy!..."

Standalone is docked. Docked is when they aren't attached to the switch. The Switch is docked.

You said they lag when docked...

@Gaticus: Weird, I've had them since release - zero lag when docked and zero issues with the controller buttons or sticks.

You can now buy a bridge separately to charge them with just one cable, but they also charge while connected to the Switch anyway.

The only issue I have is if you've been playing something with the stock button layout it can be hard to adjust to the CG style button layout.

Hard disagree, it's an excellent controller.

@lonewolf1044: I never said otherwise. PC, PS5, Switch. Got all my bases covered. I do recognise not everyone has adult money. Though I've stopped feeding the greed machine that is PS+

The notion of not being able to "just jump in" with PC is very outdated though. Just as easy to hook it up to the main TV, with HDMI, a controller & big picture mode.

@Zombie8814: Both the Pro & PS4 Slim were announced at the same time last gen. I would assume it would have been announced already if one were in the works.

I'm still salty my Pro died in a storm. The only device on that surge protected power strip that was affected by a power cut. TV, WiiU, Xbox1S, BluRay player, Amp, and the PS4 Pro is the one to die.... urgh

@Zombie8814:

Better suggestion, invest in a PC. No paywalling multiplayer, no paywalling cloud saves, upgrade at your own pace.

@Zombie8814: I too can make random claims based on previous gen refresh of hardware. What did we all see coming exactly? This is clickbait, analysts predictions.

Nothing has been announced.
