Aww, man. I've been through my whole Earthworm Jim DVDs like 7 times already. Remember when every single cartoon had a cartoon show, or vicey versa? Well, I do, and I sure do miss it. They're bringing a lot of all those retro toys like the Rainbow Sprites and My Little Pony, but we want to see more old video games! Not just remakes of them. I think more games of characters like EWJ and Bubsy should be made, along with the cartoons. Now, cartoons are just 30 minutes of noise and violent computer-generated graphics. That's a video game's job!
Enough with that. So there's nothing to do today. Or to play. My brother's been hogging up the Gamecube that's connected to the tv where ALL of our consoles are. I want to play my dear old SNES or NES so bad. I know I can just play with him, but I want to play a good ol' 2d platformer. Yup, that's me. An Old School gamer. Right now I'm doing nothing but typing this down and RPing Star Fox with a friend. Weee, what fun. . .
Ha ha! Guess what? I was looking through my March 1993 issue of Game Pro and I saw an ad for Star Fox. It says
"Get Real... Get Starfox. Warp into the ultimate 3d Experience. Leave everyday video play light years behind! Her REAL VOICES AND SOUNDS! Experience a totally new perspective as FLUID ACTION CONTROL lets you climb and dive through atmospheres, meteor showers, and limitless space. Concentrate as the world around you slips away... and STAR FOX BECOMES A REALITY."
Real voices? XD! The weewoweeewo voice of Fox was so real. And limitless space? You could move just a little bit sideways and upwards. Anyway this was funny, but back then it was the biggest thing around. -sigh- We have come so far in technology. I wonder what games would be in ten years from now. But, if you remember, ten years from now I'll be visiting Bass in Australia :P
