Note, this topic may sound like I'm ranting, but I am genuinely curious as to why this happens:

It seems everytime I look up a game (the most recent one I looked at was Ratatouille) on Gamespot that I'm considering getting, I see this review (or some variation thereof):

It's a good game if you're a fan of the , but not worth playing otherwise.

To me, that sounds overly negative. Some people might interpret that to mean that no games are worth playing.

What kind of games do these people play if they don't like these games?
