I have just been offered a "slightly used" 360 (9-11-07 man. date) with gtaIV and COD4 for $300. In the past I have just mooched off my friends' systems, but am thinking of getting my own now. Is this a good deal even if I only use it a couple of hours a week?
For sure and since my 64 I have bought PS2 and Xbox 360. I think with the impact it made when it first came out, ocarina of time, and the fact I'm still using it once in awhile makes it overall the best system i've ever owned.
I just bought my 360 about a week ago. I waited so long b/c I was happy with my original xbox until Microsoft cut it off (after what 5 years or so?). The only game I have bought/played so far was GOW on a regular non-HDTV, and I gotta say I'm not impressed with these "next-gen" graphics at all. I could easily see the first xbox swing these kind of graphics if Microsoft wasn't in such a hurry to alienate its old system and make all us fools cough over a ton more cash. I mean the jump from PSone to xbox/PS2 was unbelievable, but this next transition is about as impressive as Mike Tyson in a spelling contest. This is just my opinion however, and I was wondering if anyone else felt the same way.
