This is my first blog entry, so I might be a little rusty. I just like to pinpoint my opinons one of the topics the radio has been talking about just recently: Why does hardly anybody go see a movie on the big screen? We've heard people called up the newscaster to pinpoint their opinions on this, most of which are pretty much "people are waiting for this to come to DVD", or "they're now selling huge flatscreen TVs nowadays", and sure,these are true opinions, but mine will always be because of the movies themselves. I mean, look at the movies that came to the big screen just last year. Sure we've had some gems such as King Kong or Wedding Crashers, but most of the films turn out to be total flops. Stealth, for example , displayed some awesome aerial effects, but the whole film was marred by a terrible storyline and script. The Ice Harvest, supposing to be a comedy, is mostly just jokes beaten to death. While seeing those films, it's pretty obvious that Hollywood just doesn't care anymore; they just have their focus on the money. And that's my pinpointer. Thanks.
