I was at Bestbuy last night and they had a **** ton of them out but from the hole on the bottom you weren't able to see the volts (12.1A being Jasper). I could see it for the Arcade units but not the elites.
Is there a way to tell by the Date? I believe that's all I could see. Going back tomorrow so I could really use the help

They stopped manufacturing the old Falcon models late last year. All new ones have Jasper mobos so don't worry about it. But if it would make you feel better just ask the clerk or whoever to open the box or shift the console around inside so you can see the voltage through the little window.
This is a stupid question. One is not better than the other, they are completely different games that will appeal to different people. Go troll some other forum.

do all the arcades have HDMI port? i looked online and some sites didnt list that it has it.
Yes I have one. All xbox 360s are the same internally. The only difference is the color of the case. Also to the OP, you'll want a hard drive eventually so either get an arcade and then a used 120gb hdd from amazon.com ($70) or get an elite if you want to get it all upfront. Also the elite comes with two free games, LEGO Batman and Kung Fu Panda, as part of the holiday bundle. Not the best games but it's still a good deal. Go for the elite.
