Only to the people who get the MW2 Hardened/Prestige editions and get the download code. IW said that we (I say 'we' because I'm getting the Hardened Ed.) will be able to download it earlier than everyone on the 10th. Then it's gonna be available to the public in December I think.

No they can't. Microsoft doesn't simply ban anyone playing a game early, that is stupid. They detect whether your dvd drive has modded firmware. That is how they determine whether to ban you.

um... one fuzzy dark picture isn't exactly proof. there's no indication where this picture was taken, or even if it was at a store. I can find pictures of MW2 boxes anywhere on the net just like this.
