Definitely. And they have to be exclusive to the console. There's no point in plopping down $300 for a new system if you can get the 'very large' majority of must-have games for the system you already own.

For me, I'm still not quite convinced on buying a PS3. There's lots of games that I'd love to play on it, but just *not quite enough* considering that a lot of great games these days are multi-platform. Maybe when the price comes down and even *more* exclusives come out for it will I consider it, but until then......

^Ditto. In my opinion, there are more than enough awesome exclusives to warrant buying 360. And if the PS3 is still gonna be your main console preference you could just get the Arcade SKU and save $100 since you probably wouldn't be buying much DLC (although installing games to the hard drive and not hearing the jet engine of a disc drive spinning all the time is nice).

You can't mod xbox 360 games like you can PC games so most likely it was a lucky shot or they are really good. Or maybe they have a nice sound system/headphones so they heard you walking?

^ yep. Does anyone know how to change the theme to a jpeg from a flash drive? I know you used to be able to when the 360 still had the blades dashboard (Old Xbox Experience if you will) because I did it myself but I haven't been able to with the NXE. Did they remove this feature or something? I can definately see MS doing it to capitalize on premium themes.

does it come out in 5.1? or just stereo and do they stay HD?

Just stereo (sucks, I know). The output file will be the same resolution as the original mkv.
