Found 2 games on clearance-- PGR4 is 10 bucks Lost Odyssey is 14 bucks--
Which one would you buy?
I like both racers and RPG's..
Wondering which one is a better game overall, as far as content and longevity?

GTA 4-- hand down was overrated--
Before realese-- all the reviews started coming in-- mostly 10/10-- I ran out release day and picked it up-- its at best a 7/10 game and I'm betting is sitting on most gamers shelves right now--
There was nothing ground breaking- in fact Saints Row ( the original) had bette graphics-- the game lost my interest after a week--
Microsoft's "Summer of Arcade" produced some of the most amazing XBLA's title to date--
Now we are back to mostly crap :(
With the excpetion of MM9 & DukeNukEm3-- (good if your old school 8-bit) its been a bunch of horse crap
The War World Demo was a pure joke, "Gee thanks for 2 minutes of gameplay" and yes it sucked--
Now That little Bobble head thingy they call MLB stickball was released, "2k-- You should be ashamed, very ashamed!"
The summer of arcade was so good, now we are back to crap-- I'm glad Im still playing Geo2 and trying to beat Braid without walkthroughs, cuz nothing is looking good in the future downloads-- and dont say portal, I already have the orange box!
/rant over
Im not a total country fan-- Im much more a rock fan-- But with that said there are some "rocking" country songs that arent your "theres a tear in my beer" type slow melodies that would be fun to play--
Hell Kid Rock is more Country than rock now-- any 38 special, Skynard, Southern rock songs are now what alot of country sounds like--
Just a few songs would be nice--
I know they will never realease a Country Rock Band or Guitar Hero Country version--
But, is it too much to ask for some country songs for download content, they are some great country songs that would play well in rock band, is this ever gonna happen?
Okay, I'll admit, Im obsessed with this resolution debate..
I was torn between 720p and 1080i on my (native 720p) samsung 720p set.
And I did what all the callings that say, " set your 360 to your tv;s native res" in the long run 1080i just looked better and I didnt see and real slowdown on my games.
With that said, I never even noticed that 1080p was an option open to me, with my 720p set..
What exactly is my tv doing, as far as upscaling/downscaling, if I choose 1080p on my 720p set?? (with HDMI)
I know Im prolly beating a dead horse, and most responses will be , pick what looks best-- best Im wondering about the actually how the tv is rendering a 1080p scale to my 720p native and how that compares how it does the same if I choose 1080i--
Sorry for prolly th 500'th post on this..
i've got a samsung 46a550 i use. the samsungs defintly rock with a 360. go to avsforum.com and find the calibration settings people are using with your tv. that's were all the videophiles get their settings and such.dcap8424
I tried the avsforums first-- while they had some calibration settings for the tv, they were mostly for HD/Movie watching. One guy posted his 360 settings and they looked worse that what I had, so I thought I'd come to the Gamers Forum for some input. I now I have to be missing something, I dont wanna give up on this set, cause frankly, when watchhing HD its amazing!! I just need to tweak the 360 setting..
