[QUOTE="Noxest"]

Hi fellow gamers, I was just wondering about the wireless adapter for the 360. If i wanted to go wireless, do I have to purchase the offcial adapter made by Microsoft (the little white adapter that cost $100) or could I just brought a standard usb wireless adapter from any company?

In the case that I have to use the official adapter by Microsoft, does anyone know the speed of that thing. My room is pretty far from my wireless router. The signal that I got with my PS3 is pretty weak (around %15) so I was just wondering if the 360 ran at the same speed.

Thanks a thousand.

I believe you either have to use the microsoft adapter for the 360, the old xbox adapter, or use a laptop and bridge the connection to do anything wireless. I do not think that using other standard usb adapters work (it is microsoft)

I learn them then either blast them with the tank, or if they're on my team, i go in the glitch and TK them and hop out (i only play hardcore). It's funny cause the people that glitch are those that pretty much suck at the game and are trying to find any sort of edge. Just tank / Arty strike em

I personally love the call of duty series, and have been a part of it since the first CoD on the PC. However, I agree with you on how you describe the mulitplayer experience when playing regular team deathmatch. It is rather horrible in that if you do not have a machine or submachine gun, you are for the most part going to be gunned down. (unless of course your fairly good with the bolt action and your enemy is fairly poor at, well the game)

What I found to be a good solution to this is Hardcore mode. Sure it tends to slow the game down a bit and if your into rushing your heart out and knowing where everyone is at all times, then it isn't for you. This does though solve the problem of gun issues. If your far away and your using a bolt action, your probably going to dominate, but if you go into close quarters against someone with a sub, your probably going to loose. Not to mention a sniper rifle 90% of the time kills the enemy with one shot which in my mind is a must.

The only major problem i have with the game is the spawning on some occasions. Often you spawn and SUPRISE your dead. SPAWN. Also glitches that tend to keep arising, which I then learn so I can keep others from using them. Besides that the multiplayer on hardcore on WaW is a great experience to me.

Hard to believe that many people will vote for Mass Effect since it hasn't really been out all that long. Orange box was fun as was Halo 3, but nothing that really stood out for me. Yes Halo has good multiplayer, but really for me was pretty much halo 2 all over again, and being a PC gamer as well the orange box was just a jump from PC to XBOX.

So to me its a toss up between Bio and COD4, where I have to go COD4 just for the immersion feel of the game. The graphics make you feel like your finally on a next gen console, and the multiplayer has more customization and playability than halo 3. Bio, none.

COD4
