This is a great accomplishment for the blue blur. Sonic the Hedgehog was a pretty big thing in the 90s and for me, and to see the Hedgehog make his comeback and blowout the box office breaking records underscores just how great of a brand this character is.
Hope this be a new avenue for SEGA to find new found success, just as Marvel did in recent decades. They have a lot of IPs that could make great feature films for Paramount. So glad Sonic is leading the way. The new video game movie king!
Too many bundles, these are old consoles that everyone and their mama own. Not buying another Xbox One. Some of just want the games by themselves discounted! I'm particularly looking for the PC version.
Do everyone now play at 1440p or 4K? I could of sworn the latter are primarily niche market gaming resolutions which cater to the high end 2080Ti and Radeon VII. But yet the benchmark graphics present them and leave out 1080p as if Full HD is not what the majority of gamers use.
Anyways this graphs is missing the RX 5700 XT Anniversary Card, it's the "Super" to the 5700XT and it's under $500 at $449 msrp.
and Virtua Fighter 2 should not been included, that game is a 2D abomination. Since this is all emulation, they should have just stuck in Virtua Fighter (32X version).
Xbox One is just awful, this is coming from someone who owns one. The system did not live up to the success of it's predecessor.
One should have had full game backward compatibility but it doesn't. Last month I played MK9 to get caught up in prep for MK11, of course I couldn't play MK9 on my One, not compatible, had to play on the 360.
@suprsolider: Did you die in 1994 or something? That year only saw the Genesis and Super NES and handheld versions of MKII, somewhat great for their time, but no where near arcade perfect, not even the 32X port which was the best home port.
MK3 blows MKII out of the water on side by side comparison. Cemented by the follow up Ultimate MK3.
I look forward to playing this game on PC. Too bad the closed beta is only for consoles. In the past I would probably jump-in but those days are over, I will not waste a cent on console games.
