Im too old to be bothered with rating games anymore. At this point I simpl;y ask myself, "am I enjoying playing this game?"If I answer yes then I play it. That's how I "rate" games now. But years ago ...

I agree with him. Mainly because Im willing to bet a large portion of those hating that one of the protagonists of the game are black arent Japanese themselves.

I've been gaming a long time. My first personal gaming machine was a hand held Donkey Kong that resembled arcade cabinets in 1983. I saw friends getting the NES in '85-86, and in 1987 I got the Sega Master System. I loved it, as did my brothers. So many games we would play and help each other through. I was working at McDonalds and made the trip to Cross county mall for my Sega Genesis. Madden and NHL took over my gaming life, with the occasional action adventure game thrown in. I moved to the Sega Saturn, but was not satisfied, so I got the PS1. Loved it. PS2, Xbox were next and gaming greatness. 360 then a PS3, and for a short time the Wii gave me some of my favorite gaming experiences. I was also playing on my laptop, well what it can run, through steam. Now I am a US Army veteran going to college on the GI Bill I earned. I game primarily on the Xbox one and PS3/4, PC and Vita (albeit most of the time I play PSP games on my Vita because Sony said fuck you very much to us Vita buyers)

And these days it’s the mighty series X
