10 point rating scale.

Recently with the release of Destiny, a few things about the score it received had me scratching my head. GS uses a 10 point scale. But it seems many gamers or fanboys or posters use a 4 point scale. See I agree with the word next to the number that GS uses in their 10 point scale. 7=good. 6=Fair. Not fucking bad, or terribad or all this bullshit people say on forums.

It seems 9=great, 8= ok, 7= average, 6= bad and there really is no reason to go any further down on the gamer's review scale. That isn't logical, critical thinking. That's fucking stupid imo. I personally gave Destiny a 7 to a 7.5. Its a good, fun game. I didn't review the ad campaign so I don't factor in the massive hype it received, I reviewed the game I played. Not advertisement executives work. And I liked it a little more than the GS reviewer. It isn't great, although great times can be had with it when I play with friends from the Army. For my opinion, Titanfall was a better time.

This ridiculous gamers scale had me laughing. And bringing up the hype or advertising budget has nothing to do with reviewing what you played. That is stuff to be reviewed by the CEOs of those ad agencies imo.
