I don't think the game is above an 8/10 but it is a great game. I like it just as much as I like Horizon 2 and Forza 5 which are also great games. They each bring something great to the table. I've been waiting for a PGR-like game for a while and DriveClub fits the bill.
This review is a bit shady. Would have been a lot quicker to just say: "It doesn't have the features of Forza therefore 5".

this game was hyped? A friend of mine sent me a copy, I didn't know what to think, played it, enjoyed it.

Played the game already. It's great. I give it a 8/10. 6/10 is pretty harsh. I'll chock this up to the reviewer just not really being into this type of game. Only mindless automatons base their purchases on review scores so anyway.....

Because he'd rather get his mind off of some reviews than try something for himself. It's called being a sheep. Does it matter? We're having fun playing the games we want to play while lifeless noobs troll gamespot reviews looking for people to argue with.
