[QUOTE="wojopro"]Not too mention with the fall update you can copy your games to the hdd and dont have to worry about the dvd drive noise.wojopro
I'm trying to figure out how this works. Is it just like how the PS3 downloads part of the game to the harddrive? Guess I should invest in a 120 GB HD!
From what I understand it copies the game fully to the hdd, All you have to do is have the disc to make sure you legally own it in the drive. So, the only time the drive will spin is to validate the disc during startup.
Dang, how much HD is that going to take up per game??!! I would think around 8-10 GB.

I felt that my Elite is less noisy then my launch system though that could all be in my head as my H3 edition is just as loud if not louder then my Eliteredmagic123
My friend's Falcon was much quieter than my launch 360. No comparision!
I'm not too concerned about the RROD as much as I am my unit being as quiet as possible. I had a launch unit and it bugged me a lot how loud it was. Is the main cause of the noise more the DVD drive, or is it the fans running to cool down the processors? Is the new Jasper model going to be the most quiet, or should I be looking for a Falcon with a specific DVD drive?
Sorry if everyone is sick of hearing about Jasper, but I was planning on buying an Xbox 360 soon. A friend of mine has a Falcon and his Xbox 360 stays pretty cool. I was just wondering if the new Jasper will be quieter than the Falcon. I won't be playing mine very much, so don't have to worry about the RROD, but I want the unit to be as quiet as possible. What do you guys think? Jasper quieter? Or both the same?
As far as a RACING game goes, Grid blows GT5 out of the water. But if you want a game to have really nice looking cars that you can customize, but don't care too much about gameplay, than go for GT5.
