Continuing my Halloween theme, here comes another creepy theme. I find this song eerily disquieting and equally creepy. It somehow fits the atmosphere perfectly, and is oddly calm at times, despite the general terror you experience throughout the series as a whole.

-Mmmm, hygienic.

From the beautiful shamisen (that is what the string instrument is called, I've heard) strums to the eloquent and flowing melody, this theme sets the sad, lonely mood that is a part of the Silent Hill experience. The inclusion of the electric guitar jumpstarts the theme, and then you are again treated to a more calm shamisen "solo". There is also a slight sob put in there to remind you that all is not well, not even in the melody. All this brilliantly put together and turning it into a surprisingly atmospheric, scary and beautiful tune that sticks with you, whether you want it to or not.

Now, all I have to do is actually play the Silent Hill games...
