The Ring and Rec are great remakes.

I don't think it matters what version you watch as they were relased about a year apart, but i found the American one to be alot gorier and the characters more likeable.

I recommend you watch it, it's a cross between Dawn of the Dead (zombies) and Cloverfield (in terms of filming).

I would say yes you should pay seeing as you are involved in the trip aswell, perhaps not as much though if you're having to drive.

At the risk of being flamed i would say yes, Bruce's voice isn't what is use to be, but it's to be expected from somebody in their 50's.
