Tonight is the VP Debate. I am very excited and anxious to see how it will all turn out. Some things that I have noticed.

Palin has been plastered all over the news. Biden will have to work to get his voice heard

Biden probably attack Palin but not outright. Pain is going to hit hard because people are expecting her to.

Palin is going into this at first with no expectations. Now with all of the media coverage she is going to be more popular than ever.

Palin will have to work hard to defend herself from some of the actions that she has taken because she has made a somewhat negative name of herself.

John McCain did very well. He made the points that need to be made.

Obama Surprised People with his plans for foreign policy. I didn't even know he was that good.

McCain did not touch on Vietnam incident (Thank God)

McCain did not seem interested in what is happening during the debate. His body language was uninterested/ shove off-ish.

Obama was talking strongly as where McCain was pretty weak, Sorry Johnny

Obama did not direct questions when he did not know. He just gave the best answer that he could.

Of Course these are just some stuff I saw and liked and didn't like about the debates. I will post a pre debate analysis for the VP Candidates.

it seems that there are some big things that are going to come from this first in three Presidential Debates. what will be the main topics? The Economy and education.

1) John McCain has not ben running a good campaign. the last thing people want to hear is that a candidate is suspending their campaign to be able to help the economy. shouldnt you be working to run the country so you can fix it by yourself.

2) McCain made a risky move especially with the conservative base by choosing Palin.

3) Maverick persona will not work. Obama has strong anti-Maverick ads that have had some sway with the opinions of republicans and undecideds.

4) Obama has been keeping his campaign going even while meeting to make a bailout plan.

5) Obama has hit McCain hard on Economy. and McCAin has not had a good economic plan.

6) Obama has an exit strategy for Iraq. McCain has an entrance strategy. an entrance into Afganistan. (Draft anyone?)

i have been hearing rumors to the effect that my favorite TV show of al time may be returning. :D

this rumor is unconfirmed as of yet but i am not letting and opportunity like this go.

perhaps i could bring Galidor back.

it is not a good thing taking the wireless away from me. I cannot do my newspaper work without knowing what is going on in the world. so right now i am leeching off of the neighbors wireless.

oh and a tip, Big news story going to be posted in a couple days. it is big.

Public Displays of Affection (PDA) is a common act among people in love. Especially in their teenage years. Many people scorn this calling it inappropriate. But why? How? How can it be inappropriate? How can you deny the most basic show of love as something that is wrong?

PDA is usually harmless. Holding hands, a short kiss, carrying the other person's book bags. How could this be seen as an act of a malicious nature?

Some of the most reoccurring arguments for PDA are that it disturbs the workplace. It creates an adult like environment, or that it will grow into more inappropriate behavior. I guess, not really, are you kidding me?

I can see a little bit of truth in the argument that it will disturb the workplace. The main place that PDA is seen is in high school. I guess that if I am really to think about it I don't want to see an entire hallway full of couples kissing. I have seen Public Displays of Affection in school but I have to say that I am not disturbed and I am sure that the kids that have also witnessed this will agree that they have not been disturbed or mentally scarred for life.

The second argument of it creates an adult like environment. I have to somewhat disagree. If you think about it then you could see that we are pretty much adults, especially when we are 17. Being that age creates a grey area as to whether you are an adult or not.

The third and last common argument, I have to say is downright BS. There is no better way to put it. PDA will not lead to more inappropriate behavior. We will not all of a sudden have public displays of sexual relations. There is no way to possibly water down this rant. This is probably the most overused, incomplete and worthless argument ever known to combat this topic.

In my opinion PDA is something that is going to happen and should happen with minimal to no moderation. Let us be the judges of what is proper to do. There is no other way to put this. Kids will be kids and we will do kid things.

ah the Chiefs, could now be named as one of the worst Football teams in the season so far. i do not follow shports heavily i just put down the points and win loss totals. and might i say with the preseason over and the regular season just beginning i am not seeing anything good coming out of the Chiefs. it may be just that i do not follow sports but i would say that if you are betting, vote on the other team.

well today is a wierd day. i feel especially giving. so i am making this post so people can ask me questions. whatever question comes to mind ask it and i will reply to you.

oh and i am going to see Drillbit Taylor today. it feels good working for the school newspaper because we get to see things before they come out! i will have a review out as soon as possible.
