Finally got the FIFA 09 platinum, that diving header trophy was driving me crazy.

Just got platinum #91 (Sonic & Sega All Stars Racing) and #92 (Cabelas Big Game Hunter 2010) while playing offline.

Well, I usually don't play online games but I can understand the frustration...some people are paying for a service (PS+) and they can't use it.

40 Gb fat 2008 model still operational. What I do to my PS3:

1. put on open location.
2. dust it off only whenever I feel like it.
3. leave the disc inside when turning it off.
4. take out the disc only when changing game.
5. quit game and return to XMB before turning it off.
6. turn off ps3 via XMB.
7. turn off back switch only when relocating ps3.
