The luck based nature of this game speaks to the different experiences in these comments. I've found the game to be at times either frustratingly difficult and easy. Why think about strategy when you might just spin well and rush straight to the opponents goal unchallenged. Or lose every confrontation despite your well considered positioning and planning.
The tutorials even feature a Beedrill whose roulette was 50% Miss, if that's not too much RNG for you then you probably think Sorry is a strategy game on par with Risk.
