Maybe now developers will start moving away from cooperative/team-based multiplayer and back to more free-for-all multiplayer? I always thought forcing people to be in a team is a recipe for toxicity.
If Blizzard was serious about diversity they would've described Tracer's sexual orientation right when they first announced the character. Now it just seems forced, and a marketing ploy.
I think one of the root causes is indeed a culture that has too much violence, in movies, video games, etc. One of the long term things the US should do is to really give more support for mental HEALTH, and reduce the stigma about mental ILLNESS that currently exists so that more people would feel comfortable seeking support for psychological HEALTH. In the short term, perhaps better regulation of violent media (games and movies) - like ensuring kids can't buy M games - and of guns would help.
"competition ran fierce and swift; 64 were cut down to 32, and 32 down to 16, and 16 down to eight. Then, some of us had lunch. Then eight went down to four." what is "Then, some of us had lunch" supposed to mean? :D
