I would say wait. I wouldn't buy either untill the bluray/hddvd war is done. World wide it looks like Sony will pull it off, but I'd still wait. The fanboys that want immediate satisfaction will tell you 360. Anyone with a memory or any experience in marketing will tell you it's become clear that Sony knows what its doing. Durability goes to Sony hands down.
