Tell them you've played those games or show them a pic.

Yes I'm aware I can tell my friends directly but I'm just wondering if the game will show up at all in my PS3 profile. Right now I'm guessing the answer is no.

You guessed correctly, games with no trophy support don't show up on you profile.

Dang that's a bummer. Well thanks for the reply.

Is there any way of my friends knowing I played a game that doesn't have trophy support? (e.g. MGS4) From what I can tell games without trophy support are not listed on profiles at all.

Just ordered the 120gb slim which will be my first PS3. I am thinking about MW2 and LBP as my first two games as they seem to be games that I'll be playing for quite some time. However I'm thinking of switching out one of the two for Uncharted 2 because I can't stop hearing good things about it. What do you guys think?

Uncharted 2: Among Thieves will occupy you for a long, long time.Superzone
Is that because of the multiplayer, or is the single player worth playing through multiple times? And can you comment a bit on how good the multiplayer is? Thanks!!

As for sports games, I will be getting MLB '10 The Show for sure. Don't see much reason to get 09 right now when the new one is right around the corner.

In your opinion what're the games with the highest replay value on the PS3? I just ordered my first PS3 and have a Gamefly account so I'll be using that to rent the 10-15 hour single player games and will purchase games with good multiplayer and high replayability. Thanks!

I just ordered my first PS3 and am really excited about playing games like MW2 but I've always been interested in Home since it was first announced. When it got released I heard it was slammed for being pretty much useless.

Has it gotten any better since then? Is there any incentive to use Home and do you use Home?

Hi thanks for the response. I did some research and it turns out all I really need is a 3.5mm stereo splitter audio adapter to connect the PS3 RCA red and white and my speaker's 3.5mm jack.

I have one more question though and it's about the video. I have both HDMI and DVI inputs on the back of my and I'm currently using the DVI port for my computer. Would I just need an HDMI cable to go from the back of my monitor to the PS3 or would I also need an HDMI-to-DVI connector to go from my computer to the PS3?

Thanks!

But the speakers are connected to the computer. So as I see it the HDMI goes from the monitor to the PS3 while my speakers are plugged into my computer, yet I will still get audio when using the PS3? It's all a bit confusing to me...

Hi I am planning on buying a PS3 soon to play on my 22" 1080p computer monitor. However, I am unsure on how I would output audio when using the PS3 via my computer speakers (2.1 system)? The inputs on the back of my monitor are DVI, HDMI, and Audio In.

I am a newb when it comes to A/V so your help is much appreciated!
