I love games: they are many factors that decides if i will play or not (part I)

@carlusofwar u know, i dont like fully turn based that much (some are ok though), but some RPG real time are pretty good (demon souls and dark souls GEMS!!! ) .... btw like above said, last story is a mix of turn based elements with real time. but is ok, if rog no your thing, is not your thing. i cant stand fighting and multiplayer deathmatch... :p

thanks for your view :)

you seem very cool to talk to, so i like to talk more with you.
so i will explain further.

I love games, but i only play games that i think are playable. and AFTER that comes the fact if i like them or not.

meaning, if the controls or game play or layout (graphic, story) are worth my time i will play that / those games.

my biggest problem is how the control is laid out. (what buttons to press for what things )i am NOT sure if the term is gameplay. i had a big har time with the OLD prince of persia games because you have to press one button to get the sword out and then another to use it.

I may like games such as singularity, wolfenstien (ps3 version), homefront, rage, RE5, but i am NOT a multiplayer person either. there for i do NOT play cod, halo, i think multiplayer is soooo overrated and "repeat of the same thing". i cant stand all the **** and crap around it. peep only buying games to play them online. i would never ever pay 600 - 700 kronor for a game to just play online. Online players are rude and ignores the fact that it takes time to adjust. everyone "dies", you need to get people change to survive the game and just not kick them out. or end the game because your sick and tired of their part. even if it is NOT their fault for dying. *explain som other time

What i have a hard time with is the "turn base". as i said i still have nightmares from WIld Arms or what ever the game is call. i tend to forget its name but not how it was to play it. I get chills thinking about it.

Ive not gotten to demon souls and dark souls as they are out of my budget. some day i might try them if gotten the chance, for now it seems like they are just what i dont like, but i dont know that until playing it.

Like Dragons Dogma., if demon souls and dark souls is anything like that in controls and layout, then demon souls and dark souls is not for me. or if demon souls and dark souls is more simlair to Dragon Age, then it is not for me either.

All these games, if they are more like ( in control, gameplay and layout) any of the following games: Lord of Shadows, GOW, Dantes Inferno, DMC, Darksiders, Enslaved, the forgotten sands, , then that is fine. then they are games for me.

I did try this Kingdom of Alumur; or what ever it is called. the control is good. (more like the games i am able to play) but it has RPG moments as you have big menu where to change clothes, weapons etc... if RPG was more like that: i would be able to play.

I like games like Just Cause, GTA, and games like that aswell. (in game play, controls and layout) but when you dont have a or lose your vechical and you have to run, and walk and run and walk... the games are so frustrating. i hate to walk around.. i just finished play THE DARKNESS.. and its a fine shooter/action.. but you can NOT run. at least i did not find away to run. maybe i missed something and boy walking miles to get where i was going... makes me wanna turn of the game(s).

I am willing to try Demon and Dark souls.., but if they are anything like Dragons Dogma or Dragon Age, then i can say right now, it is not for me. but still willing to give them a chance., qtion: doesnt Deomn and Dark have point system that runs above your head as you beat foes ? or have i misstaken that for another game that was out at the same time?

I played Neir. it started out as a lesser version of Devil May Cry, but after the first level (snow and shadow monsters)but then its spring time and it turns into what I call RPG. to many lines to read and runing around cant find crap, have to talk to people to find things. This was fine in the time of Simons Quest for NES. but these days.. no thank you.

Even Legacy of Kain was a RPG with action i guess fpr PS One. as it has "above veiw" but i love that game. what made me play it was the story and the first "cutscene". and the rest is history as i love each part in the series just as much. its was sad when it ended. i dont care muych for graphics so even if they mess up with it like they did Legacy of Kain ; blood omen 2.. i still played it because i love Kain and his world.

The other month i got a demo of Ninja Gaiden 3; not sure what version zigma or not. but i liked it and will get it when it find one with good price, same goes for the previous in the series..

As for fighting, i like wrestling games. once upon a time, i did enjoy tekken 3, St. Fighter II, but got tired of those, they are to easy... as it is the same thing over and over and over... i am an old "beat em up" fan, but those games are gone now. I remember, Final Fight, Street of Rage, and even Maximum Carnage (the best Spidey game for genesis) was my gems at that point in time.

to be continued......

Someone who reads this, could you please explain "real time" for me. not sure i got the terms of that one. so do ugot games as examples ??

The Amazing Spider - Man

I read this...

And here is my thoughts on the subject:

In my mind, i thought that Gwen was in ASM because of Sony did NOT want another Mary Jane movie(s). I dont see why Gwen has to die. isnt it enough that one Stacy member is already dead? Gwen needs to stay alive, and when they are ready to mkae the final ASM movie then she can die. as for the rest of them ASM needs girlfriend. I hope that they stay away from Mary Jane this time around. Sony didnt get along with Raimi and cast - thus they made a reboot.sonow stick to it.so NO she can NOT die.

I do agree that the story of his parents needs to come out. as for the secret villain., it was either Osborn or perhaps even Silvermane. (that would be my guess. ) You speak of the serum, but it wasnt complete. we all saw what connors tried to do with it in the end of the movie. *NO spoiler*

I do NOT want the green goblin to be the next villain. we had enough of him in the first Raimis Spiderman. Well it could depend on what they do., if they use more CGI to make goblin that would be another story of course, but even though i like goblin in SM comics then i do Joker in batman. i still hope they pick villains that have never seen the silver screen.
i hope ASM is the first of 6 films. and i hope all cast and crew will stick to it for how ever long they will make this Spiderman saga.

It will be good as long as they do NOT re-use villains from Raimi“s spiderman world. unless they use the same actors. As you can not find a better Doc Ock then Raimi did.
btw: i hope they do NOT change the title. just add a number or subtitle (as thor and capt america).

I like T4 (and all the T movies). Those who does not... is NOT a true T fan.

I do. i have no problem talking about T4. But first i wonder what on earth do you mean by that?! Does this mean you dont like T4? And what do u not like about it? And if you dont the sure does tell me alot about what you do like. I am sure you have some lame excuse about the story.

Because there is NOTHING wrong with T4. (except for the part that arnold is missing from the movie) but beside from that I love ALL terminator films, more and more for each film that comes out. I am especially fond of T3; i like the story of how j-day is not possible to avoid. and i am glad that Edward furlong was not in #3. among other things...As for #4., yes sure they had to make a CGI of Arnold, i am sure they saved money on making a CGI instead of hiring Arnold for less then 5 min. I hope they do make a terminator 5 and 6. and that both Bale and Arnold returns for the films.I recently re-watched them all. and i am NOT a person that stays in the past and only enjoy the old movies. i like new sequals made in modern time (of what ever time it is made in).As for Sam W.,.., i see nothing wrong with him. i seen worth. as there are alot more actors that are MORE boring then Sam, as those are praised for movies they made in the 70s or 80s. and they are still the same in every damn movie that they have made or will make, when that movie they made was NOT that good to begin with. So the conclustion for all my years with movies, is that critics really, really, really have bad taste. why? because most good films, they hate. and they praise worthless crap, .just look at the movies that the Academy Award/Oscars... they only vote for films (99,9% of the time) are "snooze fest- pointless-neverending dialog-dramas"...and if peep dont see that, they all need eye-wear.they wanted Sam W to be a mega star.. he still can be. look at Christian Bale. it took him 14 years before he got a name for himself and it took another 2-5 years before he was a huge star thanks to Batman among other things... so i think that Sam W has made better success in less time, as he has gotten bigger films faster.
Qtion is, with Sam W having Ten with Arnold. and Avatar 2 in the future.. his future is still bright. while Bale on the other hand, what will he have now when Nolan just killed Batman. guess bale could always stick to crap likeThe Flowers of War and he can thanks Nolan for that. while i had wanted batman 4 and 5 at least.*more later*
