Another disappointing E3...followed by exams

Just a quick post. Preparing for my first exam tomorrow..eek!

As a E3 draws to a close for another year, im dissappointed again. Microsoft seemed to do rather well out of it, especially now they have Metal Gear Rising and final fantasy on the way!! (still cant believe that), as well as a new halo.

On the plus side, im looking forward to the PSP go, even though that was leaked a few days before E3 lol. I'll probably end up pre-ordering Assassins Creed 2 in the next few weeks also. Hopefully its 100x's lessrepetitive than the first game! Hopefully its 100x's lessrepetitive than the first game! ...oh sorry! (they said it would be).

Anyway, better give PS3 break for a bit as exams approach. good luck anyone with exams!!!!

New Life

After a while of deliberating whether I really wanted to download Playstation Home (which was a lot quicker than i expected. Unlike the Fifa 09 demo which took just under 12 hours! mainly due to internet trouble), I finally got the new Playstation Home all set up...created a character...and put up some funky 60's wallpaper in my 'apartment'.

The main reason I was unsure whether to even download it, was due to the fear of becoming obsessed with it, (like msn!) spending all my time talking to fellow PS3 owners, in a suspiciously perfect, clean happy beach resort...full of people playing chess and dancing. However, it wasn't nearly as addictive as i thought and was almost boring tbh, mainly because I don't own a mic or keyboard, making conversation almost impossible, bare a few simple phrases and a manual text box (which takes far to long to write with).

Anyway, so now I have a few things for the Christmas list (mic and keyboard...as well as Little Big Word and Fifa 09, but that's a different story). So when i finally have all the equipment i can begin my second (and new) life...which involves walking about on Playstation Home (PSH), getting owned on Vegas 2, and repeating the same repetitive levels on Assassins Creed,...as well as sitting on here (Gamespot) wishing i had the money to buy new games. Isn't life fun.

So, after a weekend of gaming without a single break...neglecting school work and essays, as well as eating a load of rubbish....I finally see how much time I've wasted and need to go outside. nether the less, I continue to play Vegas 2.

Thanks for reading, although I know Sophia is the only one who does...(hello Sophia)....and maybe Joe Leary (hello Joe).

First ever blog!!!

Well, this is the first blog I've ever written in my life...so I'm not too sure what to say.

I Finally got a PS3 last week!!!!! whooo....So have been spending all week playing it rather than revising for my A-level exams in around a months time (which isn't good!). So for the past week I've been obsessed with Gran Turismo 5 Prologue, Rainbow 6 Vegas 2 and Assassins Creed. Now that I have a PS3 I can finally play online...which I also have never done before as I believe some type of subscription was needed for online gaming on PS2. I was disappointed when i realised I couldn't play MGO till MGS4 comes out, as i brought the 40GB PS3 which can't play PS2 games (the MGO server has been shut down anyway, so it makes no difference really). Can't wait till I can play MG online.

I was disappointed with Assassins Creed which I felt was waaay too repetitive, but I brought it for half price...so I'm not to bothered and won't get a refund. Gran Turismo is great fun and I'm a big fan of the series so I knew I would like it. Rainbow 6 surprised me because I don't tend to like FPS's, but I think the game is excellent. I was expecting it to be very repetitive like most FPS's I've played. The last FPS I played was 'Black' on the PS2.....which bored me after the first few levels.

Anyway, next week I need to get back to some revision, so I hope the PS3 won't distracted me from it. I hope to buy 'Uncharted' next and also rent 'Lost', as I am a MASSIVE fan of the show (and I heard it's not worth buying as it's over within 6-7 hours of game play, and also has no reply value).

If anyone has actually read my blog then thanks :), though I don't actually know or talk to anyone on this site, so I don't expect anyone will.
