I hated it until I started using safety razors - one notch below straight edges but far more manly and more satisfying than wussy modern five blade models.

Now I get to whip up a lather with a brush made from dead animal hair, slop it on my face, and slice off hairs with a blade sharp enough to peel flesh from my body.

DJ_Lae

An excellent choice!

Shaving used to give me that feeling that my face was burning; I'm not sure if it was the cream or the razor, but I don't care any more.
Gone are the days when I would pay about 3~4 dollars for a bloody razor head and have a feeling of no control over what I was doing.

How do you have time to study? Working full time + assignments + sleeping 6-8hrs + hanging out with friends = more than 24 hrs.

Unless studying conists of less than 2 hrs a day. Even then.

High School

I really don't miss the "tension" between groups. Granted, it was sometimes amusing.

While it isn't a brand placement, the emphasis on bottled water in Big Bang Theory annoys me.

Generally it doesn't annoy me, unless it is rather in-your-face type of thing.

I don't have any banks, unless my drawer counts.

[QUOTE="SquirrelTamer"][QUOTE="Frame_Dragger"] I was going to mention checking the blades for balance to minimize noise, or using a white-noise generator or even sound-cancellation through destructive interference. Then you got to the Radon part so my new advice is: MOVE!!! Move NOW!!!Loegi
No it's ok I live in Sweden, all our houses are made of Radon. Now how do I get all these stuff? White noice generator? Does that mean generating more noise?

I'm sorry, but I laughed.

I hear in Sweden the market for lead infused underwear is just spectacular.

Wow I seriously can't believe the attitude towards credit cards around here. from the "they are evil, I dont want one because they are bad, blah blah blah" to the "I would be too tempted to buy everything in the world" attitudes.
Seriously people? Do you not realise that you are preventing yourself from getting an easy credit booster by using your credit card and paying it off every month? Why does everyone think that credit card = you have to have a balance/max it out? I seriously would like to know where this sentiment comes from...If you use it properly, as if the amount you have available to spend in actual cash = amount you can use on your credit (basically paying the bill in full every month) you get free credit building! You could also stretch it by saying that it actually gives you money because of the interest you can earn on the money that sits in your account which would otherwise not be there because you used cash.
Although, chequing accounts have atrociously low interest rates, so unless you spend a high amount and have a high income, I guess that doesnt matter. However, every penny counts I suppose.

You mean like back in 1969? Yeah, the forums were rather empty back then, it seems. All of the topics are blank.
