Considering people can get a non-gaming PC for about 500 dollars, and a decent gaming machine for around 1000 dollars, the actual cost to play games on PC is actually not as high as many people thought. Even though sometimes we have to spend money to upgrade our computer, but the result is we get even better looking games. On the other hand consoles owners are stuck with whatever they have already, doesnt matter how much more they are welling to spend for an upgrade they will not get it until the next gen console comes out. Game developers will sure be able to utilize the hardware of the consoles more in the future to make console games look better, but there are still hardware limitations.
