@wisdomcjs: I don't think you really understand what I said. Anyways, there is no denying that the PS5 is selling well. Its sales are breaking records, I fully agree. I was merely talking about the exclusive titles for the console. PS5 is slowing down in terms of exclusive titles.

Looking at the future awaited game list, I don't see anything too fancy, Spider-Man 2 I guess. That's why I said Xbox can do a great job with Starfield, then with a couple of more games. Then, the next console can start competing again with PlayStation, not beating, just competing.

@wisdomcjs: I specifically said "PS5 exclusive titles". Take another look at it. Say you have a PS5 now, what games can you play that all others cannot? Demon's Souls, God of War Ragnarok, Horizon Forbidden West, Gran Turismo 7... that's really pretty much it.

The Last of Us Part II? Available on PS4.

Ghost of Tsushima? Same with above.

Spider-Man: Miles Morales? Available on PC, same with a lot of other PS exclusives that have been remastered and/or remade.

The other exclusives are not that popular to all audience.

What I'm trying to say is that, despite the advanced hardware innovation and Xbox' mess with exclusives, the PS5 is slowing down as well. They don't have as many exclusive games as before, which opens up the opportunity for Xbox to catch up. However, it's not happening anytime soon, hence my comments.

But if you talk about the other generations of consoles, like the PS3 or PS4, it's a different story.

It goes like this. Starfield is good and well-optimized.

Then, Microsoft releases some other good exclusive games like Starfield in just a couple of years, right before the end of a console generation.

When the next Xbox comes out, it will again, be a competition to Sony PlayStation again. It's as simple as that due to the limited number of exclusive titles for PS5 right now.
