Fable 2 Pubroken games

"It's just a game".

Yes, but if you are planning on buying Fable II you might want to rethink that. With the recent release of Fable II Pub Games players can make some "extra" in-game cash before Fable II is released in October. They can then transfer their winnings over to their character in Fable II as soon as the game starts.

Sure it is to be expected that proffessional gamblers might be able to make a lot of gold ahead of time, but what about the rest of us? With a recent exploit discovery in the Fable II Pub Games, players can cheat the betting system, allowing them to make a lot more money than odds would normally allow them to get. (One player has over 20,000,000 gold pieces already) It is likely that this kind of money would only be attainable after beating the game and working hard in your characters trade. These are just assumptions, but based on the information that Lionhead Studios has given us, 20 million gold is a LOT more money than players are expected to achieve before the game comes out.

So, moral dilemma? Not so much. But- you might not have as much fun as you think playing a game where money is no object. You've been waiting years for Fable II. You're also paying $60 for a copy. Do you want the full experience, or a broken one that won't feel satisfying to play?

On the other hand... People like me who love to exploit games will probably get a kick out of this experience.

The question is, will you start out playing Fable as intended or as a billionaire farm-boy who can purchase the rarest of equipment, entire cities, and a castle before he reaches the age of ten?
