[QUOTE="Spike1988"][QUOTE="cdawggorilla"][QUOTE="RoslindaleOne"] Sarah was just being a wise ass calling out chief on his size. I thought that part's intentions was to show how more humane (or normal) they are compared to the spartan II's. You remember the part where they say the Spartan II's social behaviors aren't normal? It's in the first cutscene.

I just don't buy the coincidence. I get the human side and all, but they wouldn't change the models without reason. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9t66H3MUuUs&feature=relmfu 6:42 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gcVh28uEDm4&feature=related 13:37 You cannot look at that and say there isn't a significant difference. They wouldn't have changed the models without a reason.

I honestly just think it's a mistake on their behalf. Just a simple continuity goof. Don't read so much into it man.

I'd be ok with a simple continuity issue if it weren't computer rendered. The chief should be the same throughout. So they changed it. It's got something to do with advancing the genetics (the librarian mentions that she slowed humans evolution and Halsey mentions it as well when talking about the spartans). I know Chief is really tall (7 ft, I got that much) but that stuck out to me as something else that happened because of the librarian. It isn't just immunity to the composer, Chief is larger physically as well. I guess I'm trying to piece together clues as to what the unlock actually did.

After scouring the net for answers apparently no one else has really noticed this, but it has been bothering me since completing the game. Sarah Palmer makes a comment early in the game about Chief's height (the famous "I thought you'd be taller" semi snub or w/e). It is clear in that scene that Chief is about a half a head taller than Sarah, with her head coming to his shoulder armor. Then, in the final cutscene when Chief is walking all solemnly towards the bay to remove his armor, he passes by Sarah again, and he is significantly taller than her. So much so that this is probably what people are actually staring at him for in the scene. He has grown at least 6 inches in a few days time. I assume this is to do with the genetic unlocking that the Librarian did, but my digging for info has hit a dead end. Thoughts or ideas?
