Metal Gear Solid 4... The first next-generation exclusive title to receive a perfect score (according to GameSpot). I guess that ends the old claim that "all the good exclusives are on the Xbox 360." Well, it was bound to happen eventually. The way I figure it is that game producers leaned a little more toward the 360 for a while because it is older technology. Now, before you go and start calling my biased, hear me out... The 360 really didn't have any big changes, just newer and faster parts - linear upgrades. Game makers could continue making games just as they have been for the last decade, just put more stuff on the screen at the same time. The PS3, however, was a new challenge. The cell processor... while each part of it may not have been as powerful as the 360's, combined they are capable of much more. It's unfortunate that it has taken this long for it to finally prove itself, but I hope that now that somebody has actually stepped up and built a game that really shows off what it can do, more will follow. And, sorry to say, I hope they don't feel the need to go multi-platform, because making games that the Xbox 360 can handle will just hold them back.
