Hi, I was in the market for a decent external hard drive caddy that has wifi.

Or if there are any players/recorders that you can insert a 3.5 ide hard drive into which preferably come with wifi & HDMI?

Any help would be great

I did mean 150$, missed a 0. I called sony tonight, they said to try a full format, if that didn't fix it they said they would repair it free of charge. (the console is about 15 months old, (in the UK).

Last night my ps3 decided to die, it appears to be a faulty laser as it reads no disks what so ever.

From looking on the internet i see this is a known problem, and was wondering what sony will do? (in the uk) i am aware that in the us they can repair it for around $15, is this the same for the uk?

I think i have a broken Graphics card, When playing RA3 last night the computer shut down. after trying to restart a few times i left it for a while, came back and it worked. i then looked at the system event thing, which was litteraly full of messages saying graphics card is overheating. the computer in question is a Dell 530, Q6600, 4gb ram & the ati 2600xt.

On closer inspection of the card when on i don't see the fan on the card going at all and the temps reaching 80c +

Doe this mean what i think it does, Time for a new card?

I have a 2600xt (256mb of ddr4) connected via PCI. and some videos (streamming) do not go to full size, instead all i see is a full screen of two colours seperated diagonally (i still hear the audio). normal videos work fine at full screen but sights like youtube and yahoo video do not. i thought this would be a graphics drivers issue but i have the latest installed (not beta) any other ideas?

Just checking my system temps and wondering if they are normal?

Graphics card, GDDR 4, 256mb 2600xt. Standard. running at around 53 Deg C.

Processor, Q6600 running at standard 2.4ghz. At around 50 Deg C.

Both at around idle/light use, they dont increase much with more useage as well.

Thanks for all the help and advise, so i decided on 3gb of 800mhz. picked up the phone to dell to order, asked for some money of and they said they would only upgrade, so got 4gb of 800mhz for the same price!! (at dell's website UK, it was a £30 upgrade!)
