U2 are not overrated. They have some very very good stuff. Kings of Leon get repetative after a while.

Damien rice is brilliant. Infact he's fantastic although i have heard alot of people say hes a jerk haha

Mick Flannery however is much better than Damien rice in pretty much every way. I saw him live and it was just incredible. Now he is underated

As for overated well alot of my friends like lost profits and bands like that and i just dont see why they could like them so i'll say they are overated

There is no real answer. Overrated would mean that something gets more credit than it deserves. Nobody can say how much credit ANYTHING deserved or deserves. therefore there is no answer. Furthermore, I bet a lot of people haven't even heard more than two songs of the bands that they say are overrated. ANOTHER THING... overrated does not mean you don't like it. ONE MORE THING, everyone likes different things and appreciates different things. I find Dylan amazing and people don't get it, therefore they say it is overrated or it sucks. I don't get heavy metal. But that is just me, I have had different experiences in life to others, perhaps less traumatic ones and so i can relate to Dylan and Damien Rice more. Arctic monkeys can be quite good. MGMT are refreshing as are Vampire Weekend.
