Belgium!

Well I'm off today to a new job in Belgium. Not to sure what it consists of as yet, butI believe we will be setting up cameras in a hospital. Little nervous as it is a new job, in a country I've never been to but hopefully it will go well. It is for three weeksand I'm returning home for the weekends soI'll check in while I'm back.

Still have the rest of my Star Wars videos to post but I'll have to do those when I get back too.

Bye!

Star Wars, E3 and a video of me!

Well only a few hours till E3 kicks off, so I'm going to write a quick blog and then get some sleep till 4:30am! I'm looking forward to see what's going to be shown and what demos will be available to try on the 360. Major games to check up on will be games such as Lair, GTA IV, Halo 3, Assassins Creed, etc. But I'd like to see how Monster Hunter 3, Resident Evil 5, Turok, (plus others not mentioned) are coming along and what happened to Alan Wake?!?

Gaming has been good the last couple of weeks. Completed God of War 2, Lego Star Wars 2, XBL Arcade Worms, Gears of War on Insane (thanks Azel!) and I've nearly finished Monster Hunter Freedom's single player missions. Next week I'll try to finish FFXII, as it is still fresh in my memory. Resident Evil 4 Wii edition (finally) showed up and I've started loving that! I also bought Sid Meier's Pirates! for the PSP. It looks like the best pirate game around and will be perfect for a trip I might be going on next month for three weeks.

Below is a picture of me with a couple of Wookies at that Star Wars event I talked about in my last blog. Unfortunately I forgot to charge my camera so the shots were taken with a camera phone, sorry. I've also put up a couple of videos of my Jedi training in my videos section if you haven't already seen them (also taken with camera phone). I'll post the final DVD version that was filmed, making use of that green screen, later this week. On Saturday I'll be in London again for the Star Wars Celebration Europe! I'll be remembering to take my camera this time, which I'll use to make a video of my entire journey and hopefully the event itself (if it is permitted).

21!... of sorts?

Well it has been a long, long time since my last blog post. I'm around the site a lot of the time and making new friends on the way, but I never seem to put enough energy in to writing blog entries. Changing that will be hard as I make a lot promises I find hard to keep (poor time keeping and organizational skills), but I'll try.

So first off why am I blogging now? Well I just leftthe infamous level 20, weird paradox of torture and entered the realm of peaceful level 21. That took months and good riddance to level 20! Like I said I'm on the site a lot these days and mostlydueto Gamespot's new GCN (Gaming Community Night). It's held (almost) every Wednesday night or Thursday morning (depending where you live). Because I live in the UK, it is Thursday mornings 3am - 5am. Which can be a b!tch, but I love it anyway! Unreal Tournament 2004, Halo 3 Beta and Half Life 2 are theonly three I've managed to join as yet, however I am looking forward to more.

Gaming in my life since the last time I posted hasbecome more hectic than ever! From November 2006 till now I've bought the three main consoles (PS3/360/Wii) andover a hundred games. Plus I've upgraded my PC a little but I won't be finished with this system until next month (need a second flat screen monitor). Out the three consoles I spend most of my time on the 360. Although my Wii will be getting some action next week with Resident Evil 4 Wii Edition. I missed it first, second and passed the third time round (Gamecube, PS2 and PC). I know, the shame... My PS3 will be awokenat the end of the summer with Lair!

On a final personal note, life has been steady with its peaks. I finally took my Comptia A+ exams and passed! So I'm now a qualified PC technician and I have the business card to prove it.Appropriately, I'm looking for a new job as the supermarket I currently work for $uck$ a$$! Tomorrow I'm off to a Star Wars exhibit in London to celebrate the 30th anniversary and I'll be back to London on the 14th of July for the 3 day Star Wars Celebration convention. Lastly, below is a photo of my recent trip to Paris for a Smallville celebration, yeah I'm a geek (surprise... surprise...).

Happy Halloween!!

Well none of you might know this but Halloween is my favourite holiday of the year! I have loved it since a child and have missed it since moving away from the states. They celebrate it here but not on the same scale. At the age of 10 I would go trick-or-treating with friends and most people were like "what?". I got all kind of crazy things: money, fruit, Tabasco sauce and often profanity!!

Over the last several years (because I can't go trick-or-treating myself anymore), I have been trying to make it special for other children. Each year I do unique pumpkin carvings and for the last two years I have done something with the garden out front. I'll post pictures of this year and previous years tomorrow. Afterwards I do something in the evening, last year it was a Nightmare on Elm street marathon, this year I'm going to finally play Resident Evil remake for the Gamecube.

For now here is a picture of the pumpkin I did in 2004:

Errrgggrrrhhhh!

Is it me or has Gamespot been horrendously glitchy of late. I mean I know Gamespot must be sick and tired of us complaining about them all the time but we wouldn't have anything to complain about if they just stopped £V<!<ing about!! (Calm the rage, CALM the rage... and it's suppressed)

I have a lot to say at the moment but not enough time to say it. I've been moving back into my room lately so have been neglecting my Union, but i'm just about done so I can continue as a leader. In the mean time I've been psyched about the Justice League and learning as much as I can about the main characters.

Well that will do for now but I'll probably write my next blog just tomorrow night!

Busy Bee!

Well my Union is well under way and I wish I could say it was thriving but it's not. The problem is most of my friends just aren't interested in DC that much (bunch of lousy Marvel lovers). So I've already started to look for people who are and have been inviting them to the Union.

As for the Union's look, in only a few days it has had quite the renovation and so has my blog area to consider with it. I'm really keen on using HTML again as I first used it back in college to make a website. But I have been very rusty and a BIG shout out has to go to Hitman187x. He has helped me immensely on getting my Union to look the way I want and to contribute to the boards. So thank you very much! Your a real asset to Gamespot!

Currently on the Union, I have started a unique Heal/Hurt game amongst the Justice League founders. It is all self explanatory if you visit the thread but a word of warning, avoid Aquaman's "Jaws" attack! I have also started a thread on the Golden Joystick Awards, to encourage people to vote and then post how you voted. Most importantly is the Positions for Officers thread which is for everyone not just officers. I'm really looking for people who want to be constant users of the Union and at the moment invite people to join.

Until next time, I'm always around.

Union!

Well my union is up: Justice League of America. I've had the idea some time now but have just been putting off so a couple of nights ago I thought what the hell and started it up. Everything is going ok so far but I was having problems with my HTML coding last night. If anyone could help with that I would love to know the syntax. It should have worked because it did on another site but I kept getting error messages from Gamespot.

I'm feeling a real sense of responsibility at the moment and I'm trying to update JLA as much as I can. Evenings are the easiest at the moment to add new stuff but I try to respond to messages in the day. I definitely need to put out invites to bolster rank and I know this can be annoying to receive. However it is a subject that hasn't been covered by a union on Gamespot so right now things are looking up!

James?

Notice anything wrong with this picture?
I've been having a good go with the new video service here on Gamespot and spotted something unusual with one of my recent posts. The above screen capture is from the Team Rocket Double Trouble video and to someone who doesn't know the characters, the center two are, Jessie on the left and James on the right. James is supposed to be a guy but.... Even better is that seconds from this clip he sings the line "I'm always the Man."! Are you sure about that James?!?

Speak again soon!

Exam worries on 4th of July!

Hi all!

I know I haven't been on in a while and thats because I've been studying for my A+ certification exams. I'm just about to leave to take them and would like anyone who reads this today between 12:30pm and 5:00pm (UK) wish me luck!

Thanks
Cesare

P.S. Happy 4th of July!!
