I'm new to V-Moda - Litterally only heard of them a few days ago, but wow am I blown away from reviews I've seen.

I was about the hit the buy button on the M80's on Amazon UK, and heard about the M100's and after much deliberation and viewing reviews, ie:

I am going to hold out and get these. They are compact enough to be portable so I can walk about with them, look good, and apparently sound terrific!

I was impressed with the M80 reviews, but wow!

I'm coming from having Sennheiser PX100's ii's, and before that, Koss Porta Pros (didn't like the sound), and before that, the Sennheiser PX 100 i's, so I'm sure I'm going to be really impressed, and can't wait for Christmas now as I'm going to treat myself :)

Been wanting some really good sounding audiophile headphones for a while for a good price, and so I'm honestly excited... probably too excited for a headphone but so.

With OLED screens unlike with LCD screens, you have to watch for burn in.

With Plasma, burn in is only temporary, and you may for a while see a logo burnt into the screen (especially when playing games) that fades after a while.

It then rarely does it at all after its been used for a while.

OLED's though actually do burn in. Each colour pixel has a lifespan.

You could say LCD screens also have a lifespan, because the backlights (less chance with LED LCD with the life being longer) but these will eventually go. Especially the older cathode backlights used in older sets.

My Samsung Galaxy S AMOLED screen for example has ghosting now at the top where the time and other things are displayed after 2 years of constant use. Go into the screen settings test:

*#0*#

and select red/green/blue in turn to test each LED section.

This would eventually happen with OLED screens too, so over time the colours will get less saturated as the individual pixels start to lose life.

I believe blue fades out the fastest? Then green and lastly red.

Not saying it would matter as it would still mostly last longer than 5 years, and they would have had time to protect screens from this as they start shipping, but its still a problem that occurs naturally, backlight or no backlight.

My speaker setup provides Dolby Pro Logic 2 which offers true stereo 5.1 surround sound from any music/movie outputting stereo sound.

It is actually pretty good at decoding the signal too, and most music does sound good with it, with the vocals mainly on the centre, and background sounds coming through the rears.

Its certainly better than Dolby Pro Logic 1 which only offered mono surround, but stereo fronts.

I have the Logitech Z-5500 for my PC, and music pleasure.

It's not a bad system and is certainly better than the new one. It offers 5.1 surround sound, and a good bass thump.

No, its not the best for clarity, and speaker position is important as the satilight speakers aren't great at producing sonic audio but they are good enough for when you want to pump up music loud for sure.

No, they won't beat a dedicated system with an amp, etc, but they do the job nicely and don't cost the earth now either if you can still find one about.

I think music is subjective to the person listening.

I compose music and hope someone out there (even one person) will like it.

I also like to believe that a composer like myself should be able to appreciate all types of music (pretty much). If were talking about Justin Beiber, I understand the hate.

May I ask why my thread on my Xbox 360 set 3D model was locked and not moved to an appropiate forum?

The offtopic section was the only one I saw that could have been viable for my artistic work...

After seeing the Borderlands Claptrap model being created on the video, I thought I may as well post up some work I've been doing for you all to view in Modo (another popular 3D modeling package).

I have been creating an Xbox 360 controller, and console in full detail (outside detail at least) in my spare time. None of these works are for any companies, or being paid for. They are for personal work for a portfolio for future use, as I've never had a job in the field.

I have been working on this for quite a while now, but I hope you all like it, and any questions, I'll be happy to answer :)

This is recent, but its work on the console itself. The reason I'm modeling the older one is purely because I don't have access to the newer one, and think I prefer the older ones detail, but that said, it is dated, and I was planning on an advertisement style setting:
