@uninspiredcup @MrYaotubo My only concern is that POE's battle system will seem poor in comparison to Divinity's pretty damn masterful battle system, which I would easily consider the most engaging turn-based combat I've experienced in an RPG (strategy games with RPG elements like XCOM and Advance Wars not standing).
@uninspiredcup @MrYaotubo Yeah, but I'd be really amazed if Pillars of Eternity has anywhere near as good a combat system as Divinity. Hopefully the narrative will make up for that though.
@istuffedsunny While I definitely agree that 60fps and higher (personally I want to get a 144hz monitor) is great for games, for many movies, it's not necessarily the best thing. I thought it worked well in the Hobbit, but that's because I was watching the 3D HFR version, which eliminated a lot of the literal headaches and nausea I get from traditional 3D movies running at a low framerate. If I am watching a traditional 2D version of the Hobbit, I'd prefer 24fps with motion blur--although that can be pretty problematic in the films due to their quick pans, which look great at 48fps, but are a horrendous blur at 24.
What the hell is it with these companies screwing around with their system reqs?First Watch Dogs, now this! It's getting ridiculous; what is it, amateur hour in the gaming PR business?
As much as I hate to say it, they obviously need to axe the project. It sounds like a total disaster, and letting it continue on would only lead to more financial losses.
