silent hill on the original playstation is my favourite game of all time and i hold the first four games developed by the masterminds of team silent close to heart ,so what happened ?why did the game stray so far off course?with the recent release of silent hill downpour it is clear that something must be done or the series as we know it will cease to exist.so what are the steps that the company should take to take the franchise back to its glory days? here are my thoughts....

1. assemble whats left of the original teamsilent if not possible then look at the siren team at sony studios that are more than capable of doing the job as they are comprised mostly of ex silent hill one team members.

2.mr.kojima repeatedly showed interest in having a role in future silent hill games i say give him the chance as he is one if not the best game developer around.

3.return to the roots of survival horror as there are few titles today if any that can be under the survival horror category and the industry is in dire need for such a game as fans are hungry for a good horror title.

4.silent hill was one of konami s pillars and had big production values for its time i say get the cash flowing again risk producing the game as a triple a title and i think it will be worth it for the company.
