Fallout 3 is considerably better than Fable 2. Fable 2 was short, shallow, and lacked the story to pull you in. Fallout 3 is massive, challenging, a bit spooky, and there's countless amounts of people to talk to, places to explore, and things to get into.

If you're choosing between the two, go Fallout 3. Rent Fable 2 and beat it in a few days.

Fable 2 really, really disappointed me. I felt as though I had just started the game when it ended. Sure, there's other quest to do after the final boss, but what for? Fable 2 is probably the most disappointing game of the year for me. Story was bad. Spell selection bad. And lots of other things were bad.

However, I still had fun.
