Brrrr... It's Cold In Here

its just about the end of winter break and a new semester is about to begin at school. last time we talked i was playing RE4, MK: DS, Madden, and COD2.

RE4 i was skeptical at first but i've since beat it twice and it is one heckuva game. really refreshing gameplay. its got shooting, action, puzzles and when one gameplay mechanic starts to get boring a new one is mixed in to change up the pace. really good experience.

MK: DS is moving along. ive since earned a three-star ranking on all grand prixs and am 124-24 on WFC. i also joined mariokart64.com where you can post time trials and compare yourself with the top karters in the world. i rank about 120th. not too shabby. ive taken a mini break from the game so i have to brush up on those skills.

ive also been mixing in some castlevania DS in and i must say, thats an on or off game for me. sometimes its fun but sometimes its just repetitive and tedious.  can see why people love it but its just not my type of game.

im thinking about getting phoenix wright or trauma center for a new/refreshing DS game. ill probably hold off since there are other titles i want to wait and get first.

In Madden06 my Da Bears franchise (all-pro) has just reached its 3rd consective super bowl and am going to be playing the patriots. during this dynasty i have:  a 56 game win streak going, cedric benson winning back-to-back league MVPs, brian urlacher winning the MVP once, and 16 pro-bowlers this year, ALSO, broke the single season rushing record, single season rushing TD record, single season sack & int record, single season receiving yds/td records, and much more. it might be time to move up to all-madden. (the real bears didnt fare so well in the playoffs )

COD2 (PC) is awesome and i just beat the game the other day. the last level is a little lackluster and not worthy of a last level. nevertheless, a great game and the atmosphere it conveys is incredible. you literally feel like your in war with the sounds of bullets whizzing by and the explosions rocking the ground. if only my PC was top-of-the-line and could spit out the highest graphics...

havent got any new games since my last blog, ive just been finishing all the games i already have .  but EA is coming out with Black (very excited), and Arena Football soon.

still shopping for a laptop and ive been looking at the ibook lately. found out that a new one is coming around april so ill wait until then and then decide again.

well, thats a long post and will probably be the last for a while since school's starting up again and i dont have time and am too cool for you dorks.

Happy New Year!

Winter break is finally here and i have a couple games to play for the next month off.. thats right, i get a month off from school.

im playing through RE4 (GC) and its my first in the series.  i was a little skeptical at first since the graphics were good but not uber great like i heard people say it was and the aiming is way too hard. i cant always tell where im aiming and in a dog-fight with 20 zombies i kinda would like to know where im pointing my damn gun. but it has a good story and really good gameplay otherwise.

im also playing MK: DS of course. working on my time trials times and getting them super fast. if you ever want to compare times or race online just PM me and we'll set something up.

im also playing my Madden 06 (go EA Sports!) Da Bears franchise now in year 2. most dominant defense averaging under 5 points allowed/game. Brian Urlacher is going for back-to-back MVPs and cendric benson is a beast.

i got ICO too after play SotC and played it a couple minutes, didnt get into it so i have to still play that later.

oh yea, COD2 (PC) is a game im playing too. its awesome but i wish my comp had better specs to run it on the highest settings... but then again, when youre dodging gunfire and mortar shells while trying to defend an embankment you tend to forget that the texture resolution is only on normal.

cant wait for LoZ: TT and the revolution and in the mean time, im looking for a good/cheap laptop with my xmas money.

EA Sports Games

have you been noticing all the EA Sports and EA games I own. I practically have every single one because I'm an intern for them and get free games and swag. I basically do promotional stuff on my campus, University of Maryland. Keep a look out in the dorms and bars for tournaments to win yourself free T-shirts, games, and more!
