I just finished the game 100%, in all dificulties, being a rougelite turn based tactics fan, I say this: THIS REVIEW IS AWFUL, THE CONS MAKE NO SENSE, other similar type of games with 9s or 8s are way more dificult, and I cant get past the "Outdated racially-coded enemy varieties" nonsense lol. This should be an 8 easy, maybe a 9, 8.5 if Gamespot gave scores with "."
@MigGui: First, i apreaciate the debate since it was respectful, something that its strange now a days, so thank you for that. That being said, I dont agree with your point. First, movies should reflect and yes, inforce, values, but the movement is from bottom to top, not from top to bottom. And social cohesion dont exist i find that crazy lol, with all respect. All major changes came from bottom to the top, from masses to the structure, democracy, abolition of slavery, worker rights, it didnt came from hollywood thats for sure, if anything hollywood (wich i like just to be clear) reinforced those values, it didnt create them, it tries to reflect culture so people would resonate with it, no create it from scratch. Second, Argentina has the biggest gay latino population in the world, i dont regard my country as what you described it, nor to black people either. We are a very multi culutral country with different type of ethinicities in all strata, i cant talk about Brasil because im not educated on the matter.
@changos: it's a matter of scale. On Hades you can out skill bad luck. Here there can be times the odds stack it too far against you. It's a matter of tuning that matter in a great roguelike.
same with INTO THE BREACH, you can unlock new robots but no permanent upgrades and sucess absolutely depends of what the game puts infront of you, still one of the best games of the genre too, same with Faster than Light
@koreis: Im going to give an example of one of the best rougelites that I Played, ENTER THE GUNGEON has absolutely no upgrades, you can only unlock new weapons and its hard af, odds are against you in every run and its still one of the best rougelite ever
@MigGui:evolution doesnt come in a form of goverment and hollywood cram down your throat, its comes through social cohession and cooperation through a natural order of things, this is not evolution, its virtue signalling, it doesnt make any progress in society whatsoever, i believe it create further division and racial problems tbh, it has the opposite effect, just see the racial problems the world has today since this fashion trend appeared. And people dont wanna play games or go to the movies to be called racist, if they keep insulting their own public, they will keep loosing it, i mean, as I said before, numbers dont lie
